huhn | korn
The word 'huhn' (chicken) is written continuously in one line with bright neon fountain pen. One single time the word 'korn' (grain) is placed in between.
Referring to the german proverb 'Ein blindes Huhn findet auch mal ein Korn' which translates ‚even a blind chicken finds a grain of corn once in a while’.
This process of repetition endows me with a sense of identity. The accumulation of lines form an area and assume a distinct new shape. The repetition of the same creates a new entity and the nature of the form changes in the process of repetition.
